recently finished: Jeannie Ebner: Figuren in Schwarz und Weiß (in short: great stuff; the best Ebner text I've read so far); Jakob Michael Perschy: Ich als Russe (great stuff, too - my favourites are the stories "Ich als Russe" and "Einen Finger breit"; makes me smile)

currently reading: Jasper Fforde: Im Brunnen der Manuskripte (I don't want to use "great stuff" to an inflationary extent, but I can't do anything against it - Fforde created an imaginative world of texts, letters, characters and books, and the adventure of Thursday Next is highly entertaining)
