Scholars wanted for reviews in "Feminist collections" journal

//We're looking for scholars to write reviews (1000(+/-) words) of books and films for publication in Feminist collections: A quarterly of women's studies resources.
Feminist collections is a resource review journal published by the Office of the Gender & Women's Studies Librarian for the University of Wisconsin System. It features book, film, and other reviews written primarily by faculty, graduate students, librarians, and others in the field of gender & women's studies.
Our reviewers, who are not paid for their contributions, are individually selected based on such factors as area of specialty and academic background, demonstrated interest in a particular topic, and quality of previous writing. Prospective reviewers often supply us with a CV. We are most likely to select reviewers who have background/expertise related to the topics of the resources being reviewed, and who have thoroughly familiarized themselves with our journal.
Back issues of Feminist Collections are archived and free to browse at
All reviews are edited before publication, but reviewers have the opportunity to approve editing and make final changes. Book reviewers in most cases may keep the books reviewed. All reviewers receive two copies of the printed issue in which their review appears. Reviewers must assign copyright to us, but may freely use their own contributions elsewhere after publication in FC.
Please see the attached list of titles currently in hand in our office. Email JoAnne Lehman, senior editor (, about your interest and availability, listing the specific title(s) you would like to review and supplying information about your qualifications for reviewing in this area.//
