Call for Papers
We would like to feature underrepresented voices in the library community and actively encourage submissions from colleagues at all stages of their career who have never presented at a conference or event before, as well as to more experienced voices from diverse communities. The conference will bring together librarians and information professionals from a variety of sectors and will provide an opportunity to hear about the practical approaches being taken to provide diverse voices and resources in library collections, to share ideas and knowledge, and develop new networks.
Topics could cover, but are not limited to how diversity and inclusivity are considered in:
- The services offered to library users
- The workforce in libraries and insuring equity
- Meeting diverse needs of users
- Library spaces
- Collection development and management
We are keen to provide opportunities for anyone working in the profession to share experiences and knowledge. This can be a keynote, workshop, lightening talk or panel idea.
Entry to the conference will be waived for the speaker, although unfortunately we are not able to offer travel or accommodation expenses. However, if this is an impediment to submitting a paper/attend the event, please let us know.
