Catalogue of Death

Laut Amazon wird bei Avon Books im April 2007 ein neuer Band (der zehnte!) aus der Miss Zukas-Reihe von Jo Dereske erscheinen, nämlich "Catalogue of Death". Auf der Website der Autorin ist folgendes darüber zu erfahren: "A sudden blizzard brings Bellehaven to its knees, but Helma Zukas is determined to keep the library open. Not only does she gather in a passel of stranded souls, but in the midst of the blizzard an explosion destroys the new library site AND Franklin Harrington, the billionaire who generously presented the site to the City of Bellehaven". - Es klingt auch durch, dass bereits ein elfter Band in Arbeit ist.
Die bisher erschienenen Bände der Krimiserie mit der hobbydetektivischen Bibliothekarin Helma Zukas (Bookmarked to Die, Miss Zukas and the Island Murders, Miss Zukas in Death's Shadow, Miss Zukas and the Library Murders, Miss Zukas and the Stroke of Death, Final notice, Miss Zukas and the Raven's Dance, Miss Zukas Shelves the Evidence) zählen zu meinen Lieblingsbüchern. Leider fehlt mir der Band "Out of circulation" - vergriffen und antiquarisch zu teuer (56 Dollar Minimum für ein Taschenbuch, das neu 7 Dollar gekostet hat, ist selbst mir zu happig).
