Im Tanzfilm "Wonder man" von 1945, basierend auf einer Geschichte von Arthur Sheekman, kommt auch eine Bibliothekarin vor, gespielt von Virginia Mayo.
Zum Inhalt: "Musical comedy about identical twins and the misunderstandings that occur when the spirit of one enters the other's body in order to avenge his murder. Popular nightclub entertainer Buzzy Belew is murdered before he can testify against gangster Ten Grand Jackson. Buzzy's ghost draws his long-lost twin brother, genius bookworm Edwin Dingle, to Brooklyn's Prospect Park, where he comically convinces Edwin that he is indeed dead. When Edwin refuses to impersonate Buzzy and testify, Buzzy enters his body and forces Edwin to perform at the club. Meanwhile, Edwin is also busy with trying to explain the situation to his librarian girlfriend Ellen, keeping the truth from Buzzy's fiancee Midge, and running from Buzzy's killers who believe they have botched the job. In the zany finale, Edwin hides from the killers by disguising himself as an opera singer, and 'sings' his testimony against Jackson to the district attorney in the audience".
